Still one of my favourite pizza places in Belfast! It used to be one of the only around and has survived all these years even with a major pizza chain moving in right next door, simply because it does great pizza!
Loads of traditional Italian starters but id recommend their dragons tongue bread. Huge selection of pizzas and some pastas. I usually dont opt for veggie but I really like the rosemary roast pizza. Roasted mixed peppers, feta with rosemary.
The desserts are things like sticky toffee pudding and sundaes.
The setting is quite cosy/homely with church pews and rustic tables. Staff are usually very friendly. You cant book but id suggest going a bit earlier that you expect to be hungry as its normally busy.
It is also BYO -

I'd heard great reviews and have been wanting to try Green's Pizza for the last few years. Eventually I got the chance yesterday and sadly it was one of the most disappointing meals of my life. I'm giving them 2 stars only, one for amiable service and one for nice restaurant decor. Sadly, the food was bland and quite awful. The pizzas weren't even average, they were actually very poor.
I visited with two friends and we shared starters of mushroom garlic bread supreme and dragons tongue supreme which were greasy, oily, doughy and bland. None of us were impressed. I followed with a main of Rosemary Roast pizza which is basically margherita topped with peppers, red onion, rosemary, roast tomatoes and feta cheese. I found the base too thick and doughy and toppings soggy and tasteless. I added pepper, Parmesan and salt. I've never before added salt to a pizza in my life! Unfortunately it didn't help. I added them all again and it still didn't help! I thought it was just my choice of pizza or my taste buds but my friends who ordered the Tex Mex and San Velentino pizzas were equally disappointed. They both thought the food flavourless. Even dips of garlic mayo and sweet chilli sauce didn't liven things up. All three of us agreed we would never return to Green's.
In addition vegetarian options are not marked on Green's restaurant menu which is very poor practice. You can clearly see vegetarian options on their website menu, indicated by a (V), but not the actual hard-copy restaurant menu you are handed when you visit, which is strange. The Good Earth and Roast Rosemary are the two vegetarian offerings. I can't really understand all the good reviews Green's receives. My experience was disappointing and unfortunately I would not return nor would I recommend Green's to anyone. -

Green's is a real Lisburn Road insitution and I'm always glad to see its business thriving despite the competition from other chains nearby. The dragon's tongue supreme starter is indulgent and delicious - however, the oozing garlic butter in this dish is not to everyone's tastes and should be noted. The sourdough bases are particularly tasty and reasonably priced plus the place makes a great low-key date-night venue

Best pizza I've ever eaten. I don't do pizza that often and when the rare notion takes me if I don't go here for delivery reasons, I'm always disappointed, should have driven to Greens. I think it's the fresh doe and superior quality ingredients that are used that makes Greens stand out from the rest.

I have to say I have never been more disappointed in a meal than I was here. I had heard so many rave reviews about this place that I was really excited to try it and maybe that was my first mistake as I had my expectations set so high there was really only one way this could go and that was down and unfortunately this sunk quicker than the Titanic! The only saving grace to this place is that it was BYO. I dined with 2 friends and we ordered the dragons tongue starter and a garlic bread to share. Immediately when we cut into the starters the butter oozed out so much that it looked like we had a swimming pool of garlic butter with bread as a life raft. This was just alright but the sheer amount of the butter made it extremely sickening and I felt ill afterwards - onwards to my pizza and I had orders a Parma ham and rocket pizza which unfortunately was the opposite of the starter it was so dry it felt like I was eating cardboard. It was tasteless and felt more of a chore to eat, my friends were equally disappointed with their choices which they both agreed were tasteless and they had to add copious amounts of chilli flakes and even salt in order to get any taste from it. I couldn't eat my pizza and left most of it. After leaving the restaurant I had to stop off at a shop and by crisps I was so hungry, I was very nearly buying a sandwich! Maybe I got here in a bad night but unfortunately I have been put it off going back I don't think I will ever know what everyone else is talking about
